ICC Launches New Strategy to Advance Gender Equality and Build an Inclusive Workplace

The International Criminal Court (ICC) has launched a new Gender Equality and Enabling Environment Strategy, aimed at strengthening gender equality and creating a more inclusive and supportive working environment within the Court.
The strategy reflects the ICC’s broader institutional commitment to equality, dignity and non-discrimination. It seeks to address structural barriers, promote equal opportunities and strengthen an environment in which staff can contribute effectively regardless of gender.
For an institution dealing with international justice and accountability, internal equality is also an important part of institutional credibility.
The new strategy therefore represents an organisational effort to align the Court’s workplace practices with its wider commitment to human rights and equality.
